The Space & Science Festival is back for 2017!  Now with three amazing events across three weekends in the month of May.

Saturday, May 6th – Space & Science Festival @NIGHT

Evening event focused on Astronomy with the Wellington Astronomical Society, Bioluminescent Bug Art with Dr Siouxsie Wiles, Science Talks and fun with Physics.
Plus chance to meet special guests from NASA!   (weather dependent)
Onslow College in Johnsonville, Wellington.
Gates open 6pm and close 10pm.

Saturday, May 13th – Space & Science Festival @DAY

Daytime event focused on Flying Machines, Maths Craft, Engineering with Robots & Electronics, Coding, Science Talks and fun with Physics, Chemistry & Biological sciences.
Plus chance to meet special guests from NASA!  (all weathers)
Onslow College in Johnsonville, Wellington.
Gates open midday and close 4pm

May 20th – The Art of Night with Mark Gee

Late night event focused on Astrophotography with award winning local Astrophotographer Mark Gee.  (weather dependent)
Red Rocks Reserve, Wellington.
Event open 7pm until late.

The Space and Science Festival is made possible with the help of many volunteers, from people who just want to help on the day with managing the crowds to experts in their field and organizational wizards to make it all work. Important Information

All children must be actively supervised by adults at all events. No drop-offs!
Dress warmly, bring some cash for hot drinks & food at all events.
Read the health and safety rules on the website before arriving.
No parking on Onslow College grounds, so try and use the train (contact us if you have mobility needs).
Red Rocks will have traffic control, please check event page closer to event for details.
