The 2nd Space and Astrobiology Symposium will be held at the Westport Field Station, 9-11 April 2017. The symposium provides an opportunity to bring together a diverse group of researchers who share a common interest in the advancement of space exploration and astrobiology.

Any space and astrobiology-related topic is welcome,

including: biological sciences, geology, chemistry, astronomy, physics and mathematics, rocketry, engineering, human habitation, psychology, commercialisation and the politics of space exploration.

The registration fee is $50 (with an option of contributing an extra $100 for those who can afford it to cover costs) and includes your accommodation in the bunk house at the field station. Bunk house space is limited to the first 36 who registered.

There are still places available so please send an email to allan.scott@canterbury.ac.nz along with the title of your presentation and a short abstract. If you wish to attend without presenting that is also possible.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Space and Astrobiology Symposium.
